A couple of weeks ago I posted a blog about the process of creating my artworks including prints and my 2017 Calendar for my stall at Sale Arts Trail Christmas Bazaar on Sunday 27th November 2016. You can read it here. We are now only days away from the festivities so I thought I would give you an update with some snippets of what I’ve got in store for you at the Bazaar. As I mentioned in my previous blog, although I have been a frequent visitor and sketcher at the previous events, I have not exhibited before so its a super exciting time for me (with a little bit of nervousness thrown in for good measure!).
I’m an urban sketcher and reportage illustrator and offer a range of illustration services, including prints. I’ve created some leaflets that describe a little bit about what I do and bespoke paper bags. Anyone that purchases prints or calendars from me will receive both of these with their purchase. The drawing on which the logo stamp was created is that of the Central Library in Manchester and I will be selling that sketch as one of my square prints too.
I will be selling a desk top calendar for 2017 (approximately 10 cm square) consisting of 14 separate cards (250 gsm, gloss laminated on one side) in an acrylic case. The cards fit snugly into the case which in turn fits into the dinkiest of spaces. So even the smallest offices will appreciate one of these. Each of the 14 pages has one of my pen and ink drawings of central Manchester, created between March and July 2016. I am thrilled to be sharing this set of drawings with you and can’t wait to launch them at the bazaar!
I will be selling my most recently completed drawings as prints in various sizes depending upon the image (A4, Square 30 x 30 cm, Landscape 45 x 15 cm and small 25 cm x 10 cm). Each of these is backed and cellophane wrapped. I will be showing what each of these sizes looks like mounted and framed and will be selling those framed prints too (only 1 of each size). I will also be selling a range of mounted and cellephane wrapped prints. All are high quality giclee prints on fine art soft textured 315 gsm paper. I can’t wait to share them with you!
With only a few days to go I am trying to be as organised as possible (famous last words)! If you are coming along to the bazaar I look forward to meeting you, so do drop by and say hello!
See you soon and best wishes!
